CLEVELAND, Ohio — Let’s try to make sense of Week 13 in the NFL, which included two Monday games in December and a Tuesday night snoozer.

The Steelers lost to a four-win Washington team after deciding to throw a double-move to their backup running back in a game-deciding moment. Pittsburgh’s undefeated hopes are dead.

Kansas City (11-1) held on late at home against Denver despite being double-digit favorites. The Raiders needed a deep ball miracle

New England (6-6) all of a sudden created postseason buzz by spanking the Chargers 45-0 despite Cam Newton only throwing for 69 yards. The Patriots’ hype comes plated with underwhelming performances from Miami (8-4) (beat the Bengals by only 12) and the Colts (8-4), who held off a fiery, but shorthanded, Texans offense.

Meanwhile, in the NFC, the Giants provided the upset win of the year by defeating the Seahawks 17-12 in Seattle.

What does all this mean? A lot of that we don’t know yet. However, it is clear that these next four weeks matter immensely.

How the Browns (9-3) play against the Ravens (7-5) on Monday Night Football likely dictates Baltimore’s playoff future. Cleveland visiting New York twice to take on the Giants and Jets appears far more challenging than originally thought a few weeks ago.

Also, Pittsburgh won’t be resting any starters in Week 17 with the No. 1 seed (and a first-round bye) now up for grabs. Myles Garrett even teased a late-season division title run.

Baltimore beat the Cowboys Tuesday night 34-17 and rushed for a season-high 294 yards. Up next, a Week 1 rematch on five days rest in Cleveland. Let’s preview the Browns’ Week 14 opponent.

Baltimore showed its Jekyll and Hyde season on its first two possessions versus Dallas.

On their first drive, the Ravens struggled moving the football. It’s important to acknowledge that Baltimore is not generating

push up front has been a theme of their 2020 season since losing star left tackle Ronnie Stanley in Week 9 to an ankle injury.

The Ravens offensive line ranks 23rd in Adjusted Run Yards according to Football Outsiders. Baltimore’s inconsistent run game has been the crux of its offensive issues. Without effectively playing bully ball (remember, the Ravens set league rushing records last season), Lamar Jackson has struggled as a passer.

Jackson ranks 25th in passing yards, 21st in yards per attempt and has the 22nd best QBR. Clearly, regression hit the Ravens offense in 2020.

Back to the Ravens’ opening drive.

It started with a short 3-yard run followed by a failed screen to Mark Ingram, both plays showing the Ravens’ inconsistent
